This is the short data-safety summary for ServeLume Field, the technician app operated by Synoviq, Inc., bundle identifier com.servelume.app. It matches the practices in the Privacy Policy. The app is a companion for a business workspace. It is not a public consumer signup app. Features depend on the tenant plan. This summary is effective 30 October 2026.
Data the app and the product handle
- Account identifiers: name, email address, workspace, role, and the sign-in token for the company account.
- Phone number: used so the product can send a verification code by WhatsApp or SMS.
- Precise location, including background location during an active job: shared with the company’s dispatch while a job is on the way or in progress, and only if the technician allows it. Sharing stops when the job ends, the person signs out, or sharing is turned off. The app does not track every technician all day. On Android this sharing uses a foreground notification. On iPhone it can continue in the background for that job.
- Photos: job photos the technician captures or attaches, and equipment-label scans, after the camera or photo library permission is granted.
- Signatures: the customer signature collected for the job record.
- Device storage of pending job commands: job status, checklist answers, photos, signatures, materials, equipment servicing, quotes, labour, and payments already received, kept on the phone so they can be retried. A card charge is not queued offline.
- Payment data processed by Stripe: subscription checkout when Stripe is configured, and Tap to Pay through Stripe Terminal where the merchant, device, and region allow it. The review regions are Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. This summary does not mean Apple has approved the Tap to Pay entitlement.
- Optional website analytics only after consent: Google Analytics and Meta Pixel on https://www.servelume.com, and only if the visitor opts in. They are not part of the field app.
Permissions
Camera, photo library, Bluetooth for a supported card reader, and location are requested for the job workflow. Bluetooth on iPhone is for a card reader. Location is not collected for advertising. The technician can refuse a permission in the operating system, and can turn location sharing off in Account.
Account deletion
The signed-in technician deletes the account in the app. That action calls DELETE /api/v1/me/account. The steps and the records the business keeps are on the account deletion page.
