ServeLume Terms of Service

Effective 30 October 2026.

These terms govern use of ServeLume, operated by Synoviq, Inc. They cover the marketing website, workspace registration, the business workspace at https://app.servelume.com, and the ServeLume Field app. They apply from 30 October 2026. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in place. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

The service

ServeLume is software for a service business and the people who work for it. The workspace is where the business keeps jobs and related records. ServeLume Field is the technician companion for that workspace. It is not a public app for a household to create a consumer account. Sign-in uses the company account. What a person can do depends on the workspace plan, the role the business assigns, and the device.

The business remains responsible for its prices, its customer promises, its staff, and the work it performs. ServeLume stores and presents the records the business and its technicians enter. It does not itself perform the field service or decide that a charge is correct.

Accounts

A workspace registration asks for the company, the owner’s name, email, password, and mobile number. The product can verify that mobile number with a code sent by WhatsApp or SMS. The person who registers must provide information that is accurate and must keep the password and devices under the business’s control.

The business decides who receives a login. Each person must use only the account issued to them. A platform account that is not inside a workspace cannot be closed from the field app.

Plans, trials, and charges

Plans, prices, and the trial come from the product. A new workspace registration starts a 14-day trial on the plan the product selects or on the active plan chosen at registration. No card is collected on the day of registration.

When a higher-priced plan, a trial conversion, or a renewal requires payment, the workspace opens Stripe Checkout if Stripe is configured. The plan changes after Stripe confirms payment. A lower-priced plan change can apply without that checkout. Add-on message packs that require payment are added only after Stripe confirms payment. If Stripe is not configured, a card cannot be collected for that subscription step.

On-site contactless payment in ServeLume Field uses Stripe Terminal where the merchant, the phone, and the region allow it. The regions named for review are Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. A card charge waits for the payment provider. It is not queued on the device for a later offline retry. Recording a payment the business has already received does not charge a card. Publishing these terms does not mean Apple has approved the Tap to Pay entitlement.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and billing follow the workspace subscription. The subscription screen shows the current plan, the trial end, and the renewal date the product has stored. There is no self-service refund action and no universal refund promise. These terms do not create a refund window. A question about a subscription charge can be sent to developers@synoviq.com with the business name and the invoice or payment reference. Synoviq will look at the workspace subscription. It does not promise a particular refund outcome.

The field app

ServeLume Field may ask for the camera, the photo library, Bluetooth for a supported card reader, and location. Those permissions are optional in the sense that the operating system asks the technician, and they are limited to the job workflow. Location sharing with dispatch runs while a job is on the way or in progress. It is not all-day tracking. Background location on iPhone, and the Android foreground location notification, stop when the job ends, the technician signs out, or sharing is turned off.

The app can keep pending job, checklist, photo, signature, material, equipment, quote, labour, and already-received payment commands on the device and retry them. The technician should stay signed in until those commands have been sent if the business needs that retry. The business must still review the job record before relying on it for a customer charge.

Workspace records

Jobs, invoices, photos, signatures, and other records entered for the business belong to that business’s workspace. Closing a technician’s login does not delete that history. The business must keep the records its own legal and accounting duties require. Details are on the account deletion page.

Acceptable use

Users must not attempt to break into another workspace, share passwords, upload malware, or use the service to store card security codes or other secrets in ordinary job notes. They must follow the permissions the business assigns. Optional integrations should receive only the information that integration needs.

Availability

Synoviq works to keep the service available, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular travel time, or that every plan feature is enabled in every region. Features can vary by plan. Maintenance, a provider outage, or a failed verification can interrupt a function. The business should keep its own copy of records it is required to retain outside any single screen.

Changes and contact

Synoviq can update these terms when the product or the billing path changes. The page on https://www.servelume.com/legal/terms-of-service shows the current text. Continued use of a workspace after the updated terms are posted is use of the service under the updated terms, except where a law requires a different form of notice.

Questions about an account or these terms can be sent to developers@synoviq.com. Include the business name and a short description. Do not send passwords or one-time codes.
